Freezing Chains is not only a monster reborn for IB, but it also protects the board from extra deck monsters. Medallion is not a once per turn, so it's very strong.

Or I combine it with none-combo pieces like the Speaker token, so get into my plays. I usually discard it with Revealer to make its graveyard effect active. Only 2 winds because it's a dead card by itself if it's stuck in hand. That's all the monsters, now onto the spells and traps. And should you get multiple in hand, worse case scenario, it's a discard fodder. It's also searchable btw, but we'll get to that later. Competitively speaking, Gameciel the Sea Kaiju is probably the more viable option, but I'm not disliking CCC to be honest. Not only is it a big body, but it also rips a card from hand, which can be clutch. Cataclysmic Circumpolar Chilblainia is the spice of the deck, and it acts as the back-up plan, should things not work out.

Think of making Revealer live again, or re-using some of the synchro's. Nettle is another extender, and shuffling monsters back into the deck is useful sometimes. Wayne with a tuner is also excellent going second. Revealer + extender is a good opener and can make it very easy to synchro summon the boss monsters of the deck. Keep in mind that most of these monsters have a floodgate effect, which people seriously underrate.

I had 2 copies of Spellbreaker of the Ice Barrier in the deck originally but her effect of discarding an IB didn't turn out very consistent. Otherwise the IB ratio's are pretty standard I believe. He helps getting Raiho into play and his graveyard effect is very flexible. I'm running three copies of Zujin, because I like both his effects and multiple IB's in play get their effects off. I know the deck isn't the strongest, but at least it's very fun and underrated. I made many variants on Master Duel to test strategies, and this is my current version. I like Ice Barriers and ever since I got the structure decks last year I've been trying to make the deck viable.
